We are currently working with a client who are looking for a skilled SharePoint SME for an initial 6-month contract based in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical SharePoint projects, supporting both on-premises and Microsoft 365 platforms. The role requires hands-on technical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to resolve complex SharePoint issues.

What you'll be doing:
* Lead upgrades from SharePoint 2019 to Subscription Edition (SE)
* Manage and support SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365)
* Ensure platform performance, security, and reliability
* Collaborate with teams to optimise SharePoint environments and implement enhancements
* Act as a 3rd line escalation point for complex SharePoint issues

What you'll bring:
* Strong expertise in SharePoint Server 2019 & Subscription Edition
* Experience supporting and managing SharePoint Online (M365)
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint issues
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools such as OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online (desirable)
* Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) (desirable)
* Exposure to Microsoft Copilot/AI capabilities (desirable)
* Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), Power Platform Developer (PL-400), or Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) are preferred
