Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our Card Technology team within Business Consumer Products. This role will focus on designing, developing, training, deploying, and supporting machine learning models and scalable ML pipelines across AWS cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, AWS cloud architecture, Kubernetes, Spark, and machine learning engineering practices. This individual will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable ML solutions supporting credit card decisioning, fraud detection, risk assessment, and partner applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, train, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in enterprise cloud environments.
  • Build and optimize scalable ML pipelines using Python, Spark, and PySpark.
  • Leverage AWS cloud services, including ECS, EC2, and other cloud components, to support ML workloads.
  • Develop and maintain machine learning infrastructure using Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists to productionize models and improve model development workflows.
  • Design and implement standardized ML pipelines to support model experimentation, training, and deployment.
  • Support batch model serving and integration with real-time model-serving APIs.
  • Research and implement scalable solutions for machine learning model development and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and ensure reliability of ML services.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective ML solutions.
Technical Requirements:
Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, including ECS, EC2, and related cloud services.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
  • Experience developing, training, and deploying machine learning models.
  • Strong experience with Apache Spark and/or PySpark.
  • Knowledge of machine learning engineering practices, model lifecycle management, and production ML systems.
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable ML pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
