SharePoint Developer - Remote

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a SharePoint Developer III with a Major Pharmaceutical Company. This is a contract opportunity. This position is 100% remote.

This role will support the development and expansion of enterprise AI solutions built on Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint Online. The primary focus will be the hands-on development of AI agents, integrations, and business applications that improve employee productivity and automate business processes. The engineer will partner with Global Communications and Policy organizations to deliver innovative AI and digital workplace solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain modern SharePoint Online solutions and applications
• Build SPFx web parts, extensions, forms, and reusable components
• Develop and support Power Automate workflows and Power Apps integrations
• Configure and maintain SharePoint sites, permissions, metadata, content types, and governance structures
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Implement and support document management, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing capabilities
• Integrate SharePoint solutions with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Graph, and enterprise applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform, application, and integration issues
• Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment guides
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, accessibility, and governance standards
• Support platform modernization, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of SharePoint development experience, with at least 5 years focused on SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
• At least 3-4 years of experience in Power Platform with Dataverse
• Proven experience delivering enterprise intranet, collaboration, content management, and document management solutions
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Fluent UI, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience developing custom web parts, extensions, and reusable components
• Experience with SharePoint REST APIs, Microsoft Graph APIs, and PnP Framework
• Experience building business process automation solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps (Canvas + Model driven)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Github, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desired skills:

• Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or Azure certifications
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or serverless technologies
• Understanding of Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled Microsoft 365 capabilities
• Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences
• Experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 services

Pay range: up to $55.15 per hour
