Job Description

Vascular Assistant (m/f/d) | Rendsburg, Germany | Hybrid

We are seeking a dedicated Vascular Assistant to join a leading healthcare provider in Schleswig-Holstein, recognized as a central center of excellence and part of a nationwide renowned hospital group. This is an opportunity to contribute to a highly specialized vascular surgery department, offering modern endovascular, open, and preventive vascular care.

The Role

  • Coordinate patient appointments for vascular surgery consultations and manage the planning and scheduling of vascular procedures.
  • Oversee the logistics of vascular-specific materials and implants, including coordinating special orders.
  • Assist with wound care, participate in wound consultations, perform blood draws, insert IV cannulas, and support vascular surgical interventions.
  • Prepare medical reports and perform sonographic examinations under medical supervision.
  • Document medical activities, contribute to administrative tasks, and help improve practice workflows.

What You'll Need

  • Completed training as a Health and Nursing professional, Medical Assistant (MFA), or a comparable medical-nursing qualification.
  • Ideally, possess a DDG Vascular Assistant certificate or be willing to pursue training as a Vascular Assistant or Endovascular Assistant (EVA).
  • Demonstrated interest in vascular medicine and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
