Hybrid role (Contract-to-Hire)

$35 - $42 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Brooksource is seeking a Business Data Analyst II for a contract-to-hire position in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities for operational and clinical improvement, monitor key performance metrics, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance health outcomes and member experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data, and influencing meaningful healthcare outcomes. You will play a critical role in supporting quality improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with healthcare quality standards and regulatory requirements, and presenting actionable insights to leadership and business partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Analyze and monitor key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for operational and clinical improvement.
  • Conduct research, reporting, and barrier analyses to support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that improve quality and operational performance.
  • Track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights.
  • Support project planning, execution, and continuous improvement efforts across multiple workstreams.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and performance updates to leadership and business partners.
  • Ensure alignment with healthcare quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, quality improvement, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting information to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other data analysis and visualization tools preferred.
