Windows Server administrationActive Directory / Group PolicyDNS and DHCPVMware vSphere / ESXiPhysical and virtual server infrastructureBasic LAN/WAN networkingTCP/IP| VLAN| subnetting| routing and switching fundamentalsServer and network hardware installationBackup and recoveryStorage infrastructure fundamentalsRack and stack activitiesFiber and copper cabling knowledgePatch panels and structured cablingInfrastructure monitoringHardware and connectivity troubleshootingInfrastructure migration and cutover supportTechnical documentationRoles & ResponsibilitiesSite Infrastructure AssessmentPerform onsite discovery and assessment of existing IT infrastructure at power plant locations.Review servers| network equipment| racks| UPS/power connectivity| storage| backup systems| cabling| endpoints| and IT rooms.Document existing infrastructure| dependencies| risks| and gaps.Infrastructure Migration & IntegrationSupport migration of existing site infrastructure into the clients target enterprise environment.Coordinate server| endpoint| network| application| and infrastructure migration activities.Support pre-migration readiness checks and post-migration validation.Server & Virtualization SupportInstall| configure| troubleshoot| and support Windows Server infrastructure.Support VMware vSphere/ESXi or equivalent virtualization environments.Assist with physical-to-virtual or infrastructure migration activities where required.Active Directory & Core Infrastructure ServicesSupport Active Directory integration| domain connectivity| DNS| DHCP| Group Policy| and related Windows infrastructure services.Troubleshoot authentication and connectivity issues during site migration.Network Infrastructure CoordinationWork with network architects and engineers on switches| routers| firewalls| VLANs| IP addressing| WAN connectivity| and wireless requirements.Support physical installation| connectivity verification| patching| and troubleshooting.Physical Infrastructure & CablingAssess server/network racks| patch panels| fiber and copper cabling| power connections| and equipment-room readiness.Coordinate with structured-cabling and field-service vendors for new installations| remediation| labeling| and testing.Backup| Storage & RecoverySupport backup and recovery requirements for site infrastructure.Validate backup readiness before migration or major infrastructure changes.Assist with storage connectivity and infrastructure recovery activities.Migration & Cutover SupportParticipate in migration planning| implementation| cutover| and rollback activities.Provide onsite technical support during planned migrations.Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and coordinate with specialized technical teams when escalation is required.Testing & ValidationPerform post-migration validation of infrastructure services.Verify server| network| endpoint|
