Job Description

The Chief Estimator will lead the estimating department, overseeing all pre-construction and tendering activities. This senior role requires a highly skilled professional with extensive knowledge of construction estimation practices specific to concrete forming, waterproofing, restoration, and crane services.

Chief Estimator - Tank & Pump Construction 

Oversees and manages the estimating team, and all its functions, and is responsible for the overall performance of the department. The estimating team focuses on environmental and fuel facility-focused projects and services. Experience in Pump and Tank Industry a real plus

• Accountable for managing, motivating, and training the estimating team and must ensure that all estimates are submitted accurately, consistently, and timely for the Construction and Service Business Units.
• Preparing a portion of the construction and service estimates.

Qualifications:

• Must HAVE estimating experience in the construction, environmental, or similar industry
• Must be detail-oriented while also having the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to manage and generate project estimates for projects ranging from $25,000 up to $5,000,000.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of excel
• Knowledge of Cost Estimating Software is preferred
• Ability to read plans and other project documents
