A leading independent medical equipment service organization is expanding its oncology support team in the Midwest. The company partners with healthcare providers to deliver reliable, high-quality service solutions that ensure critical radiation therapy systems operate safely and efficiently.
Role Overview:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of Linear Accelerators (LINAC) at customer sites across Iowa. This is a field-based role requiring regional travel. You will troubleshoot complex system issues, complete detailed service documentation, and ensure equipment performance meets clinical and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Strong foundation in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering
Proven experience servicing and repairing medical Linear Accelerators
Ability to interpret schematics and utilize diagnostic software tools
Willingness to travel throughout Iowa as required
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsIdeal Candidate:
Comfortable working independently in hospital and clinical environments
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
