Applications Engineer - Automation

Join a growing automation team developing robotic solutions for CNC machine tending and advanced manufacturing applications. This is a pre-sales engineering role focused on taking customer requirements and turning them into practical, technically sound automation concepts.

• Develop robotic automation concepts and system layouts using SolidWorks
• Review RFQs and determine the appropriate technical solution
• Size and select robots, EOAT/grippers, material handling and peripheral equipment
• Perform payload, reach, cycle-time and feasibility analysis
• Work with FANUC robotics, CNC machines and machine-tending applications
• Partner with Sales and Proposal Engineering to develop complete customer solutions
