Job ID#: 225404 Job Category: Engineering Position Type: Associate - W2 Duration: 12 months Shift: 1 Positions Available: 3 We have an outstanding Contract position for a Test Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Littleton, CO surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $95.00 Hourly **US Citizenship is required.**  **Candidate must possess an Active Top Secret Security Clearance.** Job Responsibilities:

  • Designs major components or major portions of a functional system or technically advanced prototype, promotional or specific products.
  • Develops or improves products and facilitates manufacturing operations.
  • Develops basic data and makes preliminary layout sketches and notes necessary to present design proposal.
  • Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability replace ability strength-weight efficiency and contractual specification requirements and cost.
  • Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development.
  • Makes layouts of assemblies and details parts of devices, mechanisms, structures and products.
  • Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning.
  • Identifies design errors, omissions and other deficiencies and recommends revisions and/or improvements in design layout to responsible engineers or designers.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the Program.
  • Mentor Junior engineers; interface extensively with out customers, as well as senior leadership.
  • Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements.
  • Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending.
  • Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
  • Interface with suppliers, customers, and internal design teams to provide cost-effective and low-risk solutions.
  • Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
  • Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure.

Basic Hiring Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Hardware development experience.
  • Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems.
  • Experience with interconnect design.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, Pspice (PLM Systems).
  • Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement).
  • Issue Tracking experience.
  • Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware
  • 3+ years of professional experience for this role.

Desired Qualifications

  • Capability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrate test systems, and experience as Subject Matter Engineer or equivalent.
  • Experience with Telemetry Data Processing (TDP).
  • Experience working with RF.
  • Demonstrated an ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in the development of tech products.
  • Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentation.
  • Experience troubleshooting system-level issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.
