Job DescriptionA global highly reputable investment management firm in New York is seeking a results-driven VP, Fund Accounting & Finance to join it’s leading investment management platform and oversee the financial and operational management of a diverse portfolio of investment funds.\n\n*$295-$350K Total Comp (base+ full annual bonus)*\n\nThis senior leadership role will have responsibility for fund accounting, financial reporting, investor servicing, operational processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nThe ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative leader with strong investment management and accounting expertise, who can effectively partner with internal teams and external service providers.

This role offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to enhance processes, technology, reporting, and team capabilities within a dynamic and growing organization.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Lead the ongoing financial and operational management of multiple investment funds and entities.\n Serve as a subject matter expert across fund accounting, financial reporting, investor operations, and servicing.\n Oversee relationships with fund administrators, auditors, banking partners, lenders, and other external providers.\n Review and approve capital activity, NAV reconciliations, financial statements, investor reporting, and related deliverables.\n Lead quarterly and annual reporting processes, including GAAP financial statements and annual audits.\n Drive the development and implementation of scalable processes, technology, data, and reporting solutions.\n Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall stakeholder experience.\n Lead projects and communicate key milestones, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.\n Manage, mentor, and develop a geographically distributed team.\n\n\nQualifications\n\n Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.\n 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally including public accounting and investment management.\n Strong understanding of U.S.

GAAP, fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment operations.\n Proven experience managing teams and third-party service providers.\n Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.\n Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Anaplan, or similar business intelligence tools.\n Experience with investor portals, financial systems, or technology implementations is a plus.\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.\n Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\n
