Maxwood Furniture is hiring an experienced CDL Class A Driver for dedicated drayage routes between our Marion, SC distribution facility and the Port of Charleston. This is a full-time company driver position with a regular Monday–Friday, 3:00 AM–11:30 AM schedule, offering predictable hours, weekends off, and afternoons and evenings at home.

Because this is port-based drayage, actual finish times can vary based on port operations, traffic, and other conditions on the road.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL

• 5+ years of CDL Class A driving experience required for commercial insurance eligibility

• Valid TWIC Card

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements

• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and on-time performance

• Port and/or drayage experience preferred

• Familiarity with Port of Charleston operations is a plus

Location & Route

This position is based in Marion, SC, with dedicated drayage runs between Maxwood Furniture’s distribution facility in Marion and the Port of Charleston.

Drivers return home daily with no OTR or overnight routes.
