Description

We are looking for an LMS Consultant to support a client in Hartford, Connecticut through a Contract assignment. This role focuses on learning management system guidance, user support, and technical issue resolution while helping teams work effectively with digital training tools. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Canvas and a practical approach to troubleshooting software and end-user challenges.

Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support for learning management system users by diagnosing issues, answering questions, and resolving technical problems efficiently.
Partner with client stakeholders to optimize LMS usage and improve the delivery of training content and user access.
Troubleshoot system-related concerns involving course setup, permissions, enrollment activity, and general platform functionality.
Deliver guidance and instruction to users on LMS features, computer programs, and best practices for effective system use.
Assist with configuration updates, testing activities, and platform maintenance to help ensure stable system performance.
Document recurring issues, solutions, and support processes to strengthen consistency and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to address escalated incidents and support broader system-related initiatives when needed.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in LMS support, training systems administration, or a related consulting role.
Hands-on experience working with Canvas in a support, training, or administrative capacity.
Strong troubleshooting skills across software applications and general computer programs.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to end users with varying levels of system knowledge.
Experience supporting instructors, trainers, or business users in a learning technology environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple support requests and priorities.
Clear, detail-oriented communication skills and a client-focused approach to problem solving.
