Newcastle Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Up to £60,000 plus bonus

We're working with a leading global technology and professional services organisation that delivers innovative digital, cloud and engineering solutions across a wide range of industries. This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering team, developing enterprise Java applications and delivering secure, scalable solutions for high-profile clients.

As a Senior Java Developer, you'll develop and enhance enterprise Java applications in an agile environment. You'll work closely with technical leads and cross-functional teams to design microservices, support testing, and deliver high-quality software using modern development practices.

What You'll Need as a Senior Java Developer

• 5+ years' hands-on Java development experience, with exposure to leading/ mentoring developers and driving technical best practices.
• Strong commercial experience with Java 817.
• Proven experience with Spring, Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Current hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience designing and developing microservices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Eligible to obtain BPSS and SC Security Clearance (5 years' continuous UK address history required).
