SEN / SEND Tutor | Chester, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are hiring for an impact-driven community organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide essential educational support and re-imagine the world of assistance for vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with a diverse range of learners, including those with MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Join a mission-driven team committed to raising the standard of education for young people with additional needs.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references (will facilitate DBS if needed).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
