Job Description

Network Protection Technician / Commissioning Technician for Substations | Regensburg, Germany | Hybrid We are hiring on behalf of a leading European provider of integrated technical services for buildings, energy, and communications networks. The Role • Support new construction and modernization projects for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations in Southeastern Germany. • Commission and verify electrical systems to ensure the smooth flow of green energy. • Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control systems, collaborating with expert teams. • Program and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers. • Utilize modern testing equipment for precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology. • Contribute to the green energy future by supporting projects in energy transmission, distribution, and the grid connection of renewable energy parks. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering. • Proven affinity and expertise in protection/control technology, with hands-on experience commissioning switchgear. • Familiarity with standard communication protocols (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104). • Experience with Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1, and OMICROM TestUniverse software is a plus. • Strong team player with excellent decision-making and communication skills, including fluent German. • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel (typically Monday-Thursday).
