Trainee Sales Manager Up to 30,000 per annum + benefits Westbury, Wiltshire Permanent

We're recruiting for an established and successful business within the sustainable packaging industry, who are looking for a Trainee Sales Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or career changer to join an 18-month structured development programme, designed to prepare you for a long-term career as a Sales Manager.

The role:

Starting within the internal sales team, you'll learn the business, products and processes before gradually taking on more responsibility.

• Customer relationship management and business development
• Identifying new sales opportunities
• Preparing for and attending customer meetings
• Sales negotiations
• Market and competitor analysis
• Working with internal sales and technical teams

Following successful completion of the programme, you'll progress into a Sales Manager position, managing your own territory and customer base.

About you:

• A degree would be advantageous
• Ambitious and keen to build a career in sales
• Confident with excellent communication skills
• Commercially minded and goal-focused
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Interested in technical products
• Proactive, personable and keen to learn

What's on offer:

• Up to 30,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays

• Working hours - Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (100% office based)
