D365 F&O Subject Matter Expert - Administration, Support and Configuration

D365 F&amp;O Subject Matter Expert | Financial Services | London<br />Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 + benefits A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations (D365 F&amp;O) Subject Matter Expert to take ownership of the day-to-day support, administration and configuration of its D365 F&amp;O platform.<br />This is a hands-on role acting as the key internal SME for D365 F&amp;O, supporting users across Finance and Operations, managing system configuration, resolving functional issues and working with internal technology teams and third-party partners to ensure the platform remains stable, effective and aligned with business requirements.

Role and Responsibilities:<br />As the D365 F&amp;O Subject Matter Expert, you will:

Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations.<br />Provide day-to-day functional support to Finance, Operations and wider business users.<br />Administer and maintain the D365 F&amp;O platform, including system configuration and user setup.<br />Configure D365 F&amp;O functionality in response to changing business requirements.<br />Troubleshoot functional issues and manage incidents through to resolution.<br />Manage user access, roles, permissions and security configuration.<br />Support system updates, releases, patches and platform maintenance.<br />Work closely with Microsoft partners and third-party suppliers to resolve technical and functional issues.<br />Support testing and UAT for system changes, fixes and enhancements.<br />Maintain system documentation, configuration records and user guidance.<br />Identify opportunities to improve system usability, processes and platform performance.<br />Provide guidance and support to users to improve adoption and effective use of D365 F&amp;O.<br />Essential Experience Strong hands-on experience supporting and administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations.<br />Experience working as a D365 F&amp;O SME, Functional Consultant, Application Support Consultant or D365 Administrator.<br />Strong experience configuring D365 F&amp;O functionality.<br />Proven experience providing functional application support and resolving user issues.<br />Experience managing users, roles, permissions and security within D365 F&amp;O.<br />Good understanding of Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Operations modules.<br />Experience supporting upgrades, releases, testing and system enhancements.<br />Ability to investigate issues and work effectively with technical teams and third-party partners.<br />Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.<br />Comfortable working as the internal go-to person for D365 F&amp;O.<br />Desirable Experience Experience within Financial Services or another highly regulated environment.<br />Exposure to OneStream, Hyperion or other financial consolidation/EPM platforms.<br />Experience with Power BI and financial reporting solutions.<br />Knowledge of integrations, APIs and data flows between D365 F&amp;O and other platforms.<br />Microsoft Dynamics certifications.<br />Finance or accounting knowledge or qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.<br />Package £70,000 - £100,000 base salary, depending on experience<br />City of London - Onsite<br />Private healthcare<br />Pension<br />Full corporate bens package
