Radiologic Technologist III

At NorthBay Health, the Rad Tech III will report to the Radiology Supervisor and will perform general radiographic studies, fluoroscopic studies, bedside radiography and CT Heads to established QA criteria.

Responsibilities:

• Completes radiographs, print images, organizes patient data, completes required documentation and charges.
• Responsible for patient safety and well being during examinations.
• Assists and instructs patients during examinations.
• Assists with clerical duties.
• Reports all equipment malfunctions.
• Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.

Education:

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course.

Licensure/Certification:

• California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• California Fluoroscopic Permit
• AART Radiography (R)
• AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required

Experience:

• Five or more years of experience in general radiology as a Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum one year of experience performing CAT Scan head exams

Skills:

• Basic clerical and computer experience.
