Enterprise Solutions Revenue team is an ambitious, fast paced group that focuses on solutions-based selling in order to maximize our client experience. We operate in a high growth industry with a lot of investment and evolving product set to meet client's changing needs.
Responsibilities and Impact:
We are seeking an experienced salesperson to join our team and drive the sales of our loan management and administration software and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with experience in selling software solutions and services. Additionally, a deep understanding of loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), and private credit is essential to succeed in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, travelling to visit prospects as required by the business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships, in person where possible.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our suite of solutions to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on client requirements, market trends, and competitive offerings.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring that all terms and conditions are favorable to both the client and the company.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets on a consistent basis, delivering sustainable revenue growth.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, market trends, and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our loan management and administration software and services.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the sales management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $136,800 to $157,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
What We are Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in financial markets selling enterprise-level solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
- Proven ability to cultivate relationships and partner with clients on complex solutions
- In-depth knowledge of loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), and private credit.
- Strong understanding of the loan management and administration software and services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and build relationships.
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations and partner with pre-sales on product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
