Senior Centric PLM Solution Lead
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced Senior Centric PLM Solution Lead to be based at their client's offices in London.
This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London office 2- 3 days per week.
This is a 6 month temporary contract to start ASAP
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
Be a contributor to a strategic PLM transformation for a global fashion and retail enterprise, partnering with senior business and technology leaders. Drive adoption of modern PLM best practices, influence enterprise-wide product life cycle processes, and gain exposure to leading PLM technologies, integrations, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder workshops and requirement discussions.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and define solution approach.
- Design and validate Centric PLM functional solutions.
- Drive process standardization and best-practice adoption.
- Prepare functional specifications and user stories.
- Support integrations, data migration, and reporting requirements.
- Oversee testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies.
- Provide strategic guidance to business and technology teams.
- Act as the trusted Centric PLM SME for the program
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in PLM, with 5+ years of hands-on Centric PLM implementation experience.
- Strong expertise in Fashion, Apparel, and Retail product life cycle processes.
- Proven experience in PLM transformation, re-implementation, or modernization programs.
- Deep knowledge of Product Development, Materials, BOM, Costing, Sourcing, and Supplier Collaboration.
- Experience conducting fit-gap analysis, requirements definition, and solution design.
- Ability to engage and influence senior business and technology stakeholders independently.
- Good understanding of PLM integrations, data migration, and reporting solutions.
- Strong consulting, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
- Centric PLM certification or formal product training.
- Experience with large-scale Retail/Fashion PLM transformation programs.
- Exposure to PLM re-implementation and process modernisation initiatives.
- Knowledge of PLM integrations with ERP, PIM, DAM, and eCommerce platforms.
