We are committed to building a team of passionate, skilled educators who make a real difference in the lives of the students we serve.

Position Overview We are seeking a licensed and certified Special Education Teacher to join our Queens team. The ideal candidate holds a Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification and has a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs in a structured, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized instruction to students with disabilities in alignment with IEP goals
  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, therapists, and families to support student progress
  • Monitor, document, and report student performance and behavioral data
  • Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed

Qualifications

  • Valid NYS teaching license required
  • Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification required
  • Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
  • Passion for working with children and making a meaningful impact

Compensation: $75–$100 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Location: Queens, NY
