Trading Strategy and Performance Lead - eFinancialCareers

A global options market maker is looking for an experienced options trader who is interested in taking on projects with a broader scope. The candidate will collaborate directly with senior leadership to shape how the firm develops, evaluates, and elevates its trading talent across the desks. The role connects the trading floor with firm-wide strategy and draws on real market scenarios to raise performance at every level. Alongside this core work, you'll be able to lead a range of projects and stay hands-on with trading during quieter periods.

What you will do:

• Collaborate directly with senior leadership and desk heads to analyze and assess trader performance

• Work with traders at all levels to identify knowledge improvement needs
• Build out and deliver custom training plans for both individuals and groups
• Flexibility to continue trading and/or lead ad hoc initiatives

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience as a trader in the options market making space
• Expert knowledge of derivatives pricing, hedging, and risk management
• Exceptional communicator with experience leading meetings
• Proficient programmer, ideally in Python
