Job Description
Skillforce is currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a Territory Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing an assigned sales territory, building strong relationships with new and existing clients, and driving business growth for our Richmond branch through both local and nationwide opportunities. The ideal Territory Sales Manager candidate is proactive, relationship-focused, and motivated by results.
You’ll have ownership of your territory while working closely with our General Manager and recruiting team to identify opportunities, understand client workforce needs, and deliver exceptional service. Territory Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
Develop & Strengthen Relationships
– Connect with business owners, HR leaders, and key decision-makers to understand their workforce needs and build long-term partnerships.
Manage Client Relationships
– Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, conduct regular follow-ups, gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction. Develop & Grow Your Territory
– Identify new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts throughout your assigned market. Manage & Expand Your Pipeline
– Prospect, develop, track, and convert new business opportunities while consistently working toward sales and revenue goals.
Negotiate & Close Business
– Lead sales conversations, present solutions, negotiate agreements, and develop partnerships that create long-term value. Monitor Market & Industry Trends
– Stay informed on the local market, industry activity, and potential opportunities for growth. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, opportunities, and pipeline status. Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to establish and strengthen business relationships.
Work closely with the recruiting team to ensure alignment on client needs, staffing requirements, and service delivery. What We Look For in a Territory Sales Manager

Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required
Experience or familiarity with the skilled trades or construction industry is an additional plus
Must have a valid Driver's License
Territory Sales Manager Compensation and Company Perks
$60,000 - $75,000 base salary + commission
$600 monthly non-taxable gas allowance
