This employer is seeking a skilled Maschinenbediener (Machine Operator) to join their team in Salzgitter. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for professional growth within a reputable manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Operate CNC milling machines (4-axis/5-axis machining centers).
• Load and execute NC programs.
• Perform tool changes and set up fixtures.
• Utilize SAP for worker information system and feedback.
• Conduct self-inspections, potentially using a coordinate measuring machine.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Use measuring instruments.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training in a machining field (e.g., CNC machinist, tool mechanic, machine and plant operator).
• Ideally, experience with lathes, or at least setup experience.
• Good knowledge of CNC controls, preferably Fanuc or Siemens (though not strictly required).
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
