Senior Technology Program Manager

This is a senior technology program leadership role, not a traditional Project Manager position.

Location: Bethpage, NY or Plano, TX. 



The strongest candidate profile would have 10+ years in technology/program delivery, including 3+ years managing large multi-team programs, with preferably telecom/cable/broadband experience. The biggest differentiators are:


Telecom domain: DOCSIS, Wi-Fi, PON, LTE/5G, broadband/mobile technologies.
Program/portfolio ownership: Multiple initiatives, Agile teams, dependencies, roadmaps, risks and value streams.
Financial ownership: Budgeting, forecasting, funding allocation, ROI and investment trade-offs. This looks like a critical requirement, not just a nice-to-have.
Technology exposure: Software platforms, APIs, cloud, DevOps, SDN/NFV and/or network technologies.
Agile leadership: Scrum, SAFe or hybrid delivery across multiple teams.
Executive communication: Governance reviews, roadmap presentations, financial narratives and program-level reporting.
Leadership: Mentoring PMs/coordinators and driving program governance and continuous improvement.
