The Opportunity

Develops and/or maintains one or more parts of Cleo software by providing ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements while in compliance with specifications, time constraints, and quality expectations using appropriate languages and tools.

What You'll Do

Have an AI-first mindset, using AI coding assistants to generate code while retaining comprehension of the generated code.

Design and develop software solutions based on defined functional and technical requirements.

Write high quality code using languages and technologies such as Java, TypeScript, SQL, Angular, and others as needed.

Perform systematic unit testing, debugging, and validation to ensure software quality and reliability.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and correct assigned defects throughout the development lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify, resolve, and prevent software issues.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all developed software.

Maintain, enhance, and upgrade existing applications to ensure performance, stability, and relevance.

Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices in software engineering.

What You Bring

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree (and/or Post Graduate Degree) in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience working with technologies and languages like Java, Node, Typescript, Angular, and SQL.

Preferred

• Experience in any of the cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP (Preferably AWS).

AI Fluency 

Uses AI regularly across implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation with concrete examples of better quality, speed, or leverage. Shows real tool and model literacy — can explain why they use different tools for different tasks.

Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock), AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot), and agentic AI patterns, including tool use and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations is highly desirable.
