Principal Data Platform Engineer

Own the architecture, reliability, and evolution of the enterprise data platform, including analytics infrastructure and master data management. Lead platform engineering, data architecture, governance, AI enablement, and roadmap delivery while providing technical direction and mentorship to the data engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and operations of ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and BI platform components.
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code and maintain platform monitoring, observability, and data quality frameworks.
• Own the Pimcore master data management platform and govern item and location data domains.
• Define data architecture roadmaps, standards, and integrations between operational master data and the analytics platform.
• Prioritize the data platform roadmap, translate business needs into deliverables, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership, review designs and code, mentor team members, and drive cost and operational improvements.
