We are seeking a Market Data Risk Applications Analyst / Consultant with recent hands-on experience supporting Market Data Risk and Third-Party Risk initiatives within a Capital Markets, Banking, or Securities environment.
The consultant will act as a key liaison between Procurement, IT Risk, business stakeholders, and external market data vendors, with responsibility for managing application risk items, tracking risk SLAs, supporting third-party risk processes, and ensuring compliance with corporate security policies and internal workflows.
Candidates with backgrounds in Market Data Application Analysis, Market Data Risk, Third-Party Risk, or Project Management may be considered, provided they have recent experience managing Market Data Risk initiatives within Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage and monitor Market Data application risk items and ensure open risk SLAs are addressed within required timelines.

Partner with IT Risk teams to ensure market data applications comply with corporate security policies, controls, and risk requirements.

Serve as a key liaison between Procurement, IT Risk, business stakeholders, and external market data vendors.

Support Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities, including vendor risk assessments, compliance reviews, remediation activities, and corporate workflows.

Manage relationships with major market data vendors and coordinate issue resolution, renewals, approvals, and service requests.

Support procurement processes, including vendor onboarding, contract renewals, compliance assessments, and internal approvals.

Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Technology, Procurement, and Finance teams within a Capital Markets environment.

Track and report risk items, SLA compliance, remediation status, dependencies, and vendor performance.

Support the onboarding and integration of new market data services and applications.

Troubleshoot or coordinate the resolution of market data application issues involving connectivity, latency, entitlements, access, and vendor services.

Ensure timely communication and escalation of critical risks, issues, and dependencies to relevant stakeholders.

Maintain accurate documentation and status reporting for risk, vendor, and market data initiatives.
