Job Description

(Leitender) Oberarzt/ Facharzt (m/w/d) Kinder- und Jugendpsychosomatik | Bad Arolsen, Germany | On-site We are seeking a dedicated and experienced physician to join a leading psychosomatic clinic renowned for its comprehensive care for adolescents. This facility is one of the largest of its kind in Germany, offering specialized treatment across a range of mental health conditions. Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering a supportive and innovative therapeutic environment. The Role • Take on first-line physician leadership responsibilities within the psychosomatic youth department, with the prospect of full department leadership. • Progressively assume responsibility for clinical processes and the overall psychotherapeutic treatment of adolescents. • Support the Chief Physician in representing specialist leadership and contribute to the department's continuous development. • Conduct supervisions for child and adolescent psychotherapists in training, fostering their professional growth. • Engage in patient admissions, family consultations, and interdisciplinary peer reviews to ensure high-quality care. What You'll Need • Completed specialist training or in the 4th year of residency as an Assistant Physician in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, with completed or advanced therapy training. • A strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration within a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, psychologists, nursing staff, educational teams, and specialized therapists. • An enjoyment of working within a positive work atmosphere. • Experience in the treatment of depression, eating disorders, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, tinnitus, and ADHD is beneficial.
