Role Overview

Micron is seeking a highly experienced Staff Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and scale enterprise-grade AI and automation solutions supporting Finance functions.

This role requires a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in full-stack software engineering, Generative AI, agentic AI, cloud engineering, API development, and enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate can independently take a business idea from solution design and proof of concept through development, production deployment, and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Generative AI and Agentic AI Engineering

• Design and implement enterprise AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.
• Develop AI agents, multi-agent systems, tool-calling capabilities, and orchestrated AI workflows.
• Implement human-in-the-loop processes, AI guardrails, validation mechanisms, and responsible AI practices.
• Build enterprise search and knowledge-based AI applications.

Full-Stack Application Development

• Develop scalable frontend applications using React or Angular, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
• Build backend services using Python, FastAPI, Java, and/or Spring Boot.
• Design and implement secure REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Deliver maintainable, reliable, and high-performance applications.

Cloud and Platform Engineering

• Build and deploy applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Leverage Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, and Copilot Studio where appropriate.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, logging, and reliability engineering practices.

Enterprise Architecture and Security

• Design distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and reusable enterprise services.
• Apply enterprise design patterns, secure API practices, identity and access controls, and data protection standards.
• Ensure scalability, resilience, performance, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders, architects, product teams, and business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience in full-stack software engineering and enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on programming skills in Python and TypeScript.
• Proven experience with React or Angular and API-driven backend development.
• Strong experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLM integration, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Practical experience developing AI agents, tool calling, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security, scalability, and system reliability.
• Demonstrated ability to independently design, develop, deploy, and support production-grade solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, or Copilot Studio.
• Experience implementing multi-agent systems and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Experience with enterprise search, vector databases, embeddings, and AI evaluation.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and enterprise system integrations.
• Experience delivering AI solutions for Finance, accounting, financial planning, reporting, or other enterprise business functions.
• Experience working on enterprise GenAI transformations or internal AI platforms.
