Job Description

Senior Systems Engineer | Gaithersburg, MD | Hybrid | $107,900.00 - $195,050.00 We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology organization that provides innovative solutions to government and commercial clients, focused on enhancing efficiency and safety in critical mission operations. This company is known for tackling complex challenges and driving transformative change within vital sectors. The Role • Lead the design and development of architectural and systems solutions white papers. • Coordinate process and baseline updates for requirements and architectural diagrams. • Track and report execution status, generating detailed reports for stakeholders. • Manage schedules, risks, defects, and action items. • Perform comprehensive systems engineering tasks including requirements analysis, trade studies, and integration testing. • Develop technical solutions, decompose them into system-level requirements, and author detailed design documentation. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 6+ years. • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, from requirements definition to deployment. • Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance. • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, Waterfall, and Agile practices. • Proven experience leading and directing team activities. • Strong communication skills for effective interface with internal and external customers. • Prior knowledge and experience working on Air Traffic programs.
