Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX, USA
Reports To: Global Financial Planning Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support Group financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and performance management. This role partners with leaders across the business to provide meaningful financial insights, drive decision-making, and improve reporting processes and tools.

What You'll Do

1. Global Financial Reporting & Business Performance

Serve as a key contributor to ECOM's global financial reporting and performance management processes, supporting business leaders across regions and commodity platforms.

  • Lead monthly management reporting and performance analysis for global stakeholders.

  • Analyze financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Partner with finance and business teams across multiple countries to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information.

  • Prepare executive-level reporting, presentations, and decision-support materials for senior leadership.

2. Global Planning, Forecasting & Strategic Analysis

Support enterprise-wide planning activities and provide insights that help drive informed business decisions.

  • Coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across global business units.

  • Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and investment evaluations to support strategic initiatives.

  • Consolidate and review business forecasts, ensuring alignment of assumptions and key performance drivers.

  • Support capital expenditure planning and other business growth initiatives.

3. Finance Transformation & Process Excellence

Help advance ECOM's global finance capabilities through process improvement, automation, and enhanced reporting solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate reporting and planning activities.

  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and the implementation of planning and business intelligence tools.

  • Develop dashboards and analytical solutions that improve visibility into business performance.

  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement across the global finance organization.

This structure highlights that the role is more than a traditional analyst position. It clearly positions the individual as supporting global reporting, enterprise planning, and finance transformation, which is likely to resonate with higher-caliber FP&A candidates.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, controlling, audit, corporate finance, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional finance or accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).

  • Experience with Power BI, OneStream, PAX, or similar reporting and planning tools.

Why Join ECOM?

This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact within a global organization. You'll work closely with senior leaders, influence business decisions, and help shape the future of financial planning and performance management across the Group.
