Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership for an enterprise application development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java/J2EE development, software security principles, vulnerability management, and technical team leadership.
This role will work closely with engineering leadership to ensure technical delivery, security standards, team coordination, and timely communication of project status, risks, and issues.

Responsibilities:
Lead and provide technical guidance to a team of 5 6 contractors.
Provide hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise applications.
Apply secure coding practices and guide the team in identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities.
Work with security teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure timely remediation.
Conduct code reviews and ensure development follows security and technical standards.
Work closely with engineering leadership on project status, risks, issues, and technical updates.
Mentor team members and help resolve complex technical challenges.
Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, security, and business teams.

Required Skills:
Strong Java/J2EE and enterprise application development experience.
Strong understanding of application security, secure coding, and OWASP principles.
Experience handling security vulnerabilities and remediation.
Experience leading a team of 5 6 developers/contractors.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work closely with senior leadership and provide clear project updates.
