The Role

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Identify improvements in nursing department staffing effectiveness in collaboration with nursing leaders.
• Advise supervisors of any issues or problems with the nursing schedule and staffing ratios.
• Ensure employee, contract, and student files comply with regulatory standards.
• Schedule and coordinate nursing staff assignments, including educational opportunities.
• Distribute nursing schedules in a timely manner while maintaining confidentiality.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling within a hospital setting is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to draft professional correspondence and reports.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance standards.
