Job Description

The company

We are a niche geopolitical analysis consultancy. Much of our work is commercially sensitive, and both our Linkedin Page and this advert are necessarily minimalist; short-listed candidates will be given more information.

The role

We are looking for sharp, motivated individuals who are analysts by temperament and (ideally) training. However, mindset and attitude are just as important to us as qualifications / experience. If you’re curious about the world & the way it works, passionate about understanding, and take pride in developing subject matter expertise, we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop / maintain subject matter expertise on a specific topic(s), focussed on geopolitical issues.
  • Conduct research & analyses in support of your line of effort(s).
  • Write / produce reports in a variety of formats.
  • Work within a team in support of projects & deliverables.
  • Give / receive direction, depending on role, seniority, etc.
  • Brief others on your work, outputs, subject matter, etc.
  • Liaise with & support clients.
  • Coordinate and work with other teams & functions in the wider company.

Key requirements

  • Some form of experience / qualifications in analysis, or a relevant degree (eg International Relations, etc).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, passionate about sound judgement and methodological discipline.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Able to work on-site in London.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Able to work well within a team.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary.
  • Supportive and friendly equal opportunities working environment.
  • Training and career development.
  • Private health insurance & gym membership.
  • Opportunity for hybrid working (remote + onsite) post probation.
