Job Description

Technology Analytics and Reporting Specialist Hybrid / By Agreement Oct 2026- May 2027 About The Client

Our client is a government-owned organisation operating in a complex, highly regulated environment. Its work supports nationally significant services and requires strong governance, assurance and reliable delivery.

The organisation is continuing to invest in technology and business improvement, with a focus on effective performance reporting, strategic alignment and clear executive communication.

About The Role

The Technology Analytics and Reporting Specialist will support a technology function with corporate reporting, performance analysis and strategic documentation. You will coordinate quarterly reporting, analyse qualitative and quantitative performance information, develop clear reporting narratives and contribute to corporate planning and strategic material.

The role involves regular engagement with senior management and stakeholders across technology, governance, assurance, risk and project environments.

The engagement is expected to commence in October 2026 and continue until May 2027. It is a 40-hour-per-week contract, with hybrid working arrangements by agreement and travel when required.

Maximum rate: $950 per day inclusive of superannuation. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and produce quarterly reports for the technology function.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative performance data against corporate plan outcomes and other performance measures.
  • Prepare clear, succinct and consistent narrative for internal and external reporting and stakeholder communications.
  • Contribute to the development, review and update of strategic documents, including corporate planning and strategy material.
  • Provide advice and support to senior management and business groups on reporting, assurance and corporate initiatives.
  • Build productive working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders and coordinate reporting inputs across organisational boundaries.
  • Support compliance with relevant policies, procedures, standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Contribute to a strong governance, accountability and safety culture.
Skills And Experience
  • Demonstrated experience producing corporate reports and dashboards for senior committees, governance forums or executive stakeholders.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capability, with the ability to interpret performance information in the broader organisational context.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of clear, concise and engaging material for business and executive audiences.
  • Experience working with assurance, standards, compliance or regulatory requirements in a complex environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and coordinate contributors across business areas.
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment is highly regarded; exposure to competency frameworks or systems engineering practices is desirable.
Eligibility / Other Requirements
  • No security clearance is required.
  • Australian Permanent Residency is required
  • Relevant pre-employment checks will apply.
Why this role may appeal

This role offers a strong mix of analytics, executive writing and strategic reporting rather than being a purely technical data role. It would suit someone who enjoys turning complex performance information into clear, decision-ready material for senior stakeholders.

It also provides exposure to a broad technology, governance and assurance stakeholder environment, with the opportunity to influence the quality and consistency of corporate reporting across a complex organisation.
