Job Description:
We are seeking a Test Engineer to support electrical integration and functional testing new development and production efforts. This role will perform test setup and execution using approved procedures, verify electrical hardware and integrated system performance, troubleshoot issues, record and review test data, and document results. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing automation for functional test stations to improve test efficiency, consistency, and repeatability.
Additional responsibilities include supporting product verification and validation, coordinating logistics and transportation of test equipment and hardware, assisting with personnel training, and supporting the assembly and testing of specialized prototype hardware.
Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test
• Procure required equipment to support system build and create supporting documentation to include drawing tree, parts list, and interconnect diagrams
• Executing procedures for testing and troubleshooting components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems
• Completing test documentation, procedures and manufacturing build documents
• Review of test data for product
• Support Troubleshooting of test failures for DC-DC converters
• Improvements for test to meet data sheet
• Update LabVIEW code to meet test specifications
• Design test fixtures to meet thermal test environment
• Participate in GEMBA for feedback from test operators

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Labview / Python development experience
• Analyze and record test outcomes, maintaining thorough documentation that includes performance metrics and system readiness reports
• Electronics testing background - knowledge of test process flow and execution
• MIL-STD-810 test experience
• First Article Qualification testing
• Familiar with firewall, switch, router configurations, network architecture including subnetting
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzer)
• Experience with testing of RF / SATCOM communication circuits
• Ability to automate test procedures and data analysis activities
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure design: power requirements, rack build-out, cooling, and how to secure a lab.
• Experience with various communications / network equipment tests
• Ability to automate test procedures and data analysis activities
