Inside Sales Representative - Wholesale Building Materials

SRS Distribution is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive roofing and building products sales for contractor customers. In this on-site role, you'll manage inbound calls and digital inquiries, build relationships with residential and commercial contractors, and grow accounts through proactive outreach. You'll prepare quotes, enter orders, and coordinate with operations to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Using your product knowledge and CRM tools, you'll support a performance-driven, entrepreneurial culture with clear paths for growth, training, and incentives while making an impact in your local market.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a book of contractor accounts via phone and email
• Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively pursue outbound sales opportunities
• Prepare quotes, enter orders accurately, and coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams
• Provide product recommendations and pricing to maximize margin and customer satisfaction
• Maintain CRM records, pipelines, and follow-ups to hit sales targets
• Collaborate with outside sales and branch teams to support local market growth
• Resolve customer issues quickly while upholding company service standards
• Stay current on roofing and building products, promotions, and vendor programs
