Job Description

Gas Turbine Design Engineer

As a Gas Turbine Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise, and supporting the complex design and development of gas turbine technologies. You will be responsible for resolving manufacturing or operational issues, ensuring design acceptance, and validating the designs. This role will require strong leadership skills, technical engineering knowledge, and the ability to drive innovation in gas turbine design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams by providing technical expertise, direction, and engineering support for complex design and development of gas turbine technologies.
  • Resolve manufacturing or operational issues for complex components and systems, ensuring design acceptance, manufacturing producibility, and validation.
  • Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities in gas turbine design.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise technology roadmaps and process improvements to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Define and implement engineering procedures to make gas turbine products or processes more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
  • Lead collaboration across the enterprise and externally to provide innovative gas turbine solutions.
