Rapid Cyber Software Engineer

Our Capability Development team develops bespoke software for our clients in the Cyber Security domain. We may be building assured software that prioritises engineering rigour and reliability, rapid cyber solutions that stitch together tooling for high‑impact results, or blended operational systems that address real-world challenges in the field. This role is aimed at engineers who thrive in fast-moving, technically diverse environments where success comes from identifying the most effective solution and delivering it quickly. Rather than focusing on a single technology stack, you will combine existing tools, open-source software, automation, infrastructure and bespoke development to create capabilities that solve real operational problems.

You will enjoy taking occasionally vague requirements and turning them into practical outcomes, rapidly evaluating options, integrating technologies, and iterating to maximise operational value. The emphasis is on delivering capability into the hands of customers quickly, while maintaining the engineering discipline needed to ensure solutions remain reliable, maintainable and effective.
