Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS AI Architect with 15+ years of overall IT experience to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, AI/ML services, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), data engineering, and enterprise application integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions on AWS.
• Define scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with business requirements.
• Design and implement Generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock, foundation models, LLMs, and related AWS AI services.
• Architect and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions, including vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge bases.
• Develop enterprise AI solutions using services such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and OpenSearch.
• Define AI/ML architecture, model deployment, inference, monitoring, and governance strategies.
• Design and implement MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for model training, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise AI solutions.
• Integrate AI/GenAI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and data platforms.
• Establish cloud security, IAM, encryption, data privacy, compliance, and responsible AI best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development and engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, AWS services, foundation models, and tools to recommend the best-fit solutions.
• Drive cloud modernization and AI transformation initiatives across the organization.
• Conduct architecture reviews, define technology standards, and ensure adherence to AWS best practices.
• Optimize AI workloads for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.

 Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall experience in IT, software engineering, cloud architecture, or related technologies.
• 8+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Architecture and designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML and Generative AI services, particularly:
• Amazon Bedrock
• Amazon SageMaker
• AWS Lambda
• Amazon S3
• Amazon API Gateway
• Amazon ECS / EKS
• Amazon OpenSearch
• Amazon DynamoDB / RDS
• AWS Glue
• IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail
• Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.
• Experience working with foundation models and integrating LLMs into enterprise applications.
• Strong programming experience in Python; experience with Java, Node.js, or other backend technologies is preferred.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of MLOps and LLMOps, including CI/CD, model lifecycle management, model monitoring, and evaluation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation, and DevOps pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, data protection, IAM, networking, encryption, and compliance.
• Experience designing microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Excellent architecture, problem-solving, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Machine Learning, or other relevant AWS certifications.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments such as Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, data lakes, and modern analytics architectures.
• Experience in healthcare, financial services, retail, or other large enterprise environments is a plus.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud and AI transformation programs.
