M&E Shift Engineer – Surrey – £50,000 (Rising to £56,000) Location: Surrey Salary: £50,000 (increasing to £56,000 upon successful completion of probation) Hours: Continental Shift Pattern – 12-hour shifts Are you looking for a role in a stable, recession-resistant sector? Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks<br />Respond to emergency callouts and fault situations<br />Complete logbooks, RAMS, and relevant documentation<br />Attend client meetings and provide technical support<br />Conduct emergency lighting testing<br />Perform electrical works including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, and BMS<br />Maintain and operate Building Management Systems (BMS)<br />Work on air conditioning systems including DX, chilled water, and adiabatic AHUs<br />Maintain generators, controls, and UPS systems<br />Work on AC/DC systems including single and three-phase motors<br />Support HV/LV systems maintenance<br />Carry out basic building fabric tasks (e.g., toilets, drainage, tiling, sinks)Requirements: Trade qualified with ideally 3+ years’ experience in building services<br />City &amp; Guilds Level 3 in Electrical (or equivalent)<br />Strong understanding of building services systems (AHU, FCU, UPS, generators, LV systems)<br />Proven fault-finding ability across mechanical and/or electrical systems<br />Excellent communication skills with strong client-facing experiencePackage &amp;
