Database Administrator (Mid-Level or Senior) with Security Clearance

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Database Administrator (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive support for its proprietary programs. Position Responsibilities

• Manage and administer, maintain, and tune Oracle and SQL Server databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and availability
• Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures
• Participate in database configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot operational issues
• Maintain documentation, standards, and governance practices for database environments
• Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve performance issues
• Implement and maintain database security measures, including access controls, user permissions, and data encryption
• Collaborate with the IT (Information Technology) team to design and implement database solutions that meet the organization's requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, working closely with other IT teams and vendors as necessary
• Adhere to all relevant security and compliance policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
• Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)
• 3+ years of experience as a SQL database administrator (DBA)
• 3+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator supporting corporate databases including installing, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting and/or upgrading Oracle databases (RDBMS versions10g, 11g, 12c and higher)
• 3+ years of experience working with relational database management systems (Exadata, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Experience working effectively in a team environment
• Experience with database security and encryption technologies
• Experience with government security standards and regulations, such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), or RMF (Risk Management Framework) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
