EC&I Engineer

On behalf of our client we are recruiting for an EC& I Engineer

Location: Warrington (hybrid)

As an EC&I Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include:

• Delivering design project deliverables. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
• Producing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision.
• Be responsible for the coordination, planning and delivery of designs in accordance with the required standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project.
• Buying and selling annual leave scheme

Responsibilities include:

• Minimum qualification for this role is an HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical, control engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience.
• Experienced in interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
• Previous experience in a Nuclear Site or other highly regulated site.
• Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
• Familiarity with AutoCad design.
• Familiarity with BIM enabled projects.

The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted.

Close working relationships with other sites and client sites may be required, which necessitates regular travel to those sites (dependent upon project & client requirements).
