We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity, Data Security & Governance Manager to lead enterprise cybersecurity initiatives, data protection, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance within the insurance industry.

Required Skills & Expertise

✅ 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, GRC, or Risk Management
✅ 3+ years of leadership or people management experience
✅ Strong expertise in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
✅ Hands-on experience with SOC 1/SOC 2, NAIC, PCI-DSS, SOX, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF
✅ Strong knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification, Encryption, and Privacy Protection
✅ Experience with PII, policyholder data, and sensitive financial information
✅ Knowledge of Cloud Security (Azure/AWS), IAM, Zero Trust, SIEM, and Vulnerability Management
✅ Experience managing security audits, risk assessments, incident response, and remediation
✅ Strong understanding of third-party/vendor risk management
✅ Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, policies, standards, and governance frameworks.

• Manage data security, privacy, DLP, encryption, and sensitive information protection.

• Drive regulatory compliance, audit readiness, control testing, and remediation.

• Oversee security risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, and cyber resilience.

• Manage third-party security assessments and vendor risk.

• Partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and business leadership.

• Develop security roadmaps, executive dashboards, risk reports, and improvement plans.

CISSP | CISM | CRISC | CCSP | CEH | CDPSE | ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer | AWS Security Specialty | Azure Security Certifications
