Role Purpose Statement

The Asset Management Coordinator is responsible for managing and driving IT asset management processes across North America. This role ensures asset-related activities progress efficiently from request through completion while maintaining compliance with company policies, workflows, and reporting requirements.

This is a highly structured, process-oriented role that requires strong organization, accountability, attention to detail, and persistent follow-up. The successful candidate will proactively monitor progress, remove roadblocks, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure stakeholders complete required actions on time. This position is responsible for keeping asset management processes moving forward and ensuring consistent execution.

Work Location: SkyChefs Corporate Headquarters in Irving, TX
Work Type: Onsite Mon-Thu, Fri remote

Main Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and drive IT asset lifecycle processes, including requests, approvals, deployment, transfers, recoveries, and disposal.
  • Monitor workflows and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of required actions.
  • Track and resolve asset-related escalations, delays, and process bottlenecks.
  • Maintain accurate asset records, inventory data, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with asset management policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct inventory reviews and audits to ensure data accuracy and accountability.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees, managers, vendors, procurement, and IT teams.
  • Maintain asset management procedures, training materials, and process documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and process compliance.
  • Support mobility asset administration, inventory tracking, and policy compliance.
  • Generate reports and provide status updates to IT leadership.
  • Support IT projects and operational initiatives as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience in asset management, inventory management, operations coordination, or IT administration preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong follow-up skills with the ability to drive tasks through completion.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and highly process oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with asset management, inventory, workflow, or ERP systems preferred.
