Job Description

About the Role

This is the first engineering hire at a Y Combinator-backed AI marketing startup, working directly alongside the two founders. You will own full product features from ambiguous problem all the way to live, customer-facing product, spanning frontend, backend, LLM pipelines, and data. The role is genuinely foundational, with real influence over what gets built and how the product evolves.

What You'll Do

  • Own product features end to end: scope, design, build, ship, and iterate until they create real customer value.

  • Work across the full stack including frontend interfaces, backend systems, LLM pipelines, and data layers.

  • Talk directly with customers, turn those conversations into product decisions, and represent the team well.

  • Design simple, clear UX for complex, multi-step workflows.

  • Use AI-native development workflows, including coding agents and MCP tools, as part of your day-to-day engineering practice.

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 2 to 4 years of relevant engineering experience, with a strong track record of shipping production SaaS features.

  • Demonstrated early-stage startup or founding experience; backgrounds limited to large companies are not a fit.

  • Has shipped a product from 0 to 1 before and can do so independently without a lengthy ramp-up period.

  • Proficient in TypeScript and React; familiarity with Vite, Supabase, Vercel, and ClickHouse is a plus.

  • Comfortable working with LLMs and agentic workflows, both in product features and in personal development tooling.

  • Strong communicator in English, comfortable speaking directly with customers.

  • Based in Munich or genuinely ready to relocate.

  • Background in GEO, SEO, or marketing technology is a nice bonus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: EUR 85,000 to 120,000 per year.

  • Equity: VSOP grant included (range available on request).

  • Visa sponsorship: available.

Location

On-site in Munich, Germany. Relocation support available for the right candidate.
