Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Database Administrators to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Administer, monitor, and optimize Oracle database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
2. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot HVR replication processes to support real-time data integration and synchronization.
3. Diagnose and resolve database performance issues, replication failures, and system bottlenecks.
4. Ensure data integrity, backup and recovery readiness, and adherence to enterprise database governance and security standards.

 

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	10+ years of experience in Oracle database administration, database performance tuning, and enterprise database support.
Technical Skills	Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery, Database Monitoring, Database Security, Linux/UNIX
Business / Domain Skills	Database Administration, Data Management, Problem Solving, Incident Management, Change Management, Cross-Functional Collaboration
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise database environments.
2. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
