Role: Software Engineer IT Automation & Integrations

Preferred location: San Francisco, CA

Secondary locations: Austin, New York, Washington DC.

Position Summary

Develop event-driven enterprise integrations, internal tools, and AI-enabled IT workflows connecting identity, HR, endpoint, collaboration, and service-management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Build APIs, webhooks, services, and event-driven integrations.

Develop the Console.ai integration layer and related internal automation.

Connect identity, HRIS, endpoint, ticketing, and collaboration systems.

Design resilient workflows with retries, idempotency, error handling, and observability.

Create automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.

Deliver work through scoped repositories and pull-request reviews.

Document interfaces, dependencies, security controls, and operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

Strong software engineering experience in Python, TypeScript, Java, Go, or similar.

Experience designing REST APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous workflows.

Strong Git, automated testing, and CI/CD experience.

Understanding of authentication, authorization, OAuth, and service identities.

Experience building enterprise integrations or internal tools.

Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

ITSM, IAM, HRIS, MDM, or collaboration-platform integrations.

Console.ai or comparable IT automation platform.

Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code.

Queues, event buses, serverless services, or workflow engines.

Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Devin, or similar AI development tools.
